Feher: Håber på at skabe en masse succes
I starten af denne måned blev Peter Feher præsenteret som ny assistenttræner i OB, da hans kontrakt som assistenttræner i AaB stod til at udløbe.
Den 47-årige Feher har været fodboldtræner de seneste 20 år, og de kommende tre sæsoner skal han altså hjælpe Andreas Alm i OB, og han synes selv, det er et godt match.
– Jeg valgte OB grundet de snakke, jeg har haft med Hemmingsen, og senest med Alm, som jeg synes, er en spændende træner. Så synes jeg også, min profil passer godt til den vej, klubben skal hen. Jeg tænkte, det kunne være et godt match.
Hvor længe har du vidst, du skulle til OB?
– Hvis man tror på karma, har det vel altid været meningen. Der har været forhandlinger i et stykke tid, men heller ikke i så lang tid.
Var det en nem beslutning at sige ja til OB?
– Ja, det synes jeg.
Feher er ikke den eneste assistenttræner omkring Superligaholdet, der er nemlig også Henrik Hansen, men han er ikke selv i tvivl om, hvad det er, han kan bidrage med.
– Jeg håber, jeg kan bidrage med noget intensitet, at få fulgt op på tingene og en masse detaljetræning. Selvfølgelig skal jeg også være sparringspartner til Alm, og jeg kan også godt lide at være et link til ungdomsafdelingen, så vi kan få de unge igennem. Jeg vil gerne være lidt ekstra over de unge og få skabt en rød tråd i klubben.
Så du har ekstra fokus på de unge spillere?
– Det har jeg af natur. I forgårs var jeg nede og se en ungdomstræning, så det er ikke noget, man skal bede mig om at gøre. Det falder mig naturligt. Det er den måde, jeg tror, en klub skal bygges op på. Det er også sjælen i en klub, så for mig lægger det naturligt, at man er nede og er en del af det.
– FC Nordsjælland blev også lidt det. Det var den type mennesker, der var med til at bygge det op. Jeg var der jo fra 2006, og det var mange af den slags mennesker, der var med til at bygge en kultur op. Det lægger meget til mig som menneske, for det vigtigste i sidste ende, det er jo klubben.
I OB har vi ikke rigtig tidligere været vant til at have to assistenttrænere, men spørger man Feher, så kan man tydeligt se forskel på, om der er én eller to.
– Ja, det synes jeg helt klart. Det er jo detaljetræning, og hvor mange spillere man kan nå ud til. Det afhænger også lidt af cheftræneren, hvor meget han selv er på, men det afhænger også af, hvor meget fokus der skal være på de enkelte spillere og de enkelte detaljer. Man kan godt have to, der ikke laver noget jo.
– Det er hele tiden cheftræneren, der afgør, hvor meget han er på, og hvor meget han vil delegere ud. I starten er det meget normalt, at cheftræneren er mere på for ligesom at vise vejen og tankerne osv. Vi skal jo også finde hinanden.
Da spillerne mødte ind efter sommerferien i fredags, var det også Fehers første dag, og han fortæller selv, at han har fået en rigtig god modtagelse i OB, og han har et rigtig godt indtryk af klubben.
– Jeg er blevet modtaget helt fantastisk, også af jer. Mit indtryk af OB er, at det er en stor klub, og jeg glæder mig til, det hele går rigtigt i gang. Det hele er jo sådan lidt sommerferiestemning, men mit indtryk er, at OB er en stor klub, og alle vil det bedste, og alle er interesserede i OB.
– Hvis vi igen falder tilbage til, hvad jeg kan tilføre, så er det også meget med, at det er klubben, der er det vigtige. Det går mig meget på hjerte, og det handler om det i sidste ende.
Feher havde en kort periode som cheftræner i AaB, ligesom han også har været cheftræner i FC Helsingør, men selvom han har været oppe og snuse til den rolle, så har han det ganske fint som assistent.
– Jeg tænkte nok, det spørgsmål ville komme. Det er jo den rolle, jeg har. Hvis man er cheftræner, er det den kasket, man tager på, men nu er jeg assistent, og jeg føler også, jeg har masser at lære endnu. Jeg har ikke travlt. Tiden skal nok komme, hvis det er den vej, det skal gå, men jeg har det fint med at være assistent. Jeg føler også, jeg kan bidrage der.
Har du stadigvæk ambitioner om at blive cheftræner igen?
– Det handler om, hvad der er det rigtige på det rigtige tidspunkt. Jeg havde andre tilbud om at være cheftræner i 1. division, men jeg føler stadig, jeg vil være omkring Superligaen, og at jeg har en masse at lære, for jeg tror kun, det er tre eller fire sæsoner, jeg har været omkring Superligaen.
Indtil videre har han skrevet under på en aftale for de kommende tre sæsoner i OB, og den nye assistenttræner har også store ambitioner for, hvad der skal ske på de tre år.
– Jeg håber selvfølgelig at skabe en masse succes og få nogle medaljer. Evt. en titel til førsteholdet. Vi skal have forstærket den røde eller blå tråd, så vi kan få nogle unge op igennem og så få endnu stærkere værdier og udtryk, så man ikke er i tvivl om, hvad det er for noget fodbold, vi står for her, og hvad det er for nogle værdier, vi repræsenterer. Så tror jeg også, resultaterne og de andre ting kommer af sig selv, når værdierne og stilen er på plads.
