Lige siden det stod klart, at vi skulle spille mod Dalum i pokalturneringen, havde vi set frem til, endelig at skulle spille et lokalopgør.

Dalum og omegn er ikke lige der, vi er mest kendt, så vi var selvfølgelig i temmelig god tid til kampen. Portene blev åbnet kl. 16.30, og vi var der i hvert fald en halv time før.

Vi kunne derfor stå og følge med i truppens ankomst til Dalum Stadion, og mens Kent Nielsen og John Bredahl var i højt humør, så lignede nogle af spillerne nogen, der gerne ville have undgået at skulle spille den kamp.

Da portene blev åbnet, var det ikke noget stort problem at komme ind og få en plads, for der var ikke ret mange på det tidspunkt. Så snart vi var kommet ind, mødte vi en dreng, der gjorde os opmærksom på, at det var delt op, så dem der holder med OB, og dem der holder med Dalum, skal stå på hver sin side af banen.

Efterfølgende begyndte der at blive fyldt op med børn i røde trøjer på den langside, hvor OB’erne skulle stå, så vi tænkte, at den opdeling af tilhængerne nok ikke var noget, de gik så højt op i. Vi fik derfor fat i en ‘Security’ og spurgte ind til det, fordi vi mente, det kunne være meget interessant at komme tæt på vores bænk, så vi kunne høre, hvordan snakken gik under sådan en kamp, og han sagde, at det ikke var noget problem, at vi gik derover.

Så kunne man lige så godt have placeret OB’erne på den modsatte side.

Selve kampen er ikke noget at skrive hjem om, og det vigtigste må absolut være, at vi er videre i pokalturneringen.
