I kampen mod Lyngby stillede OB op i en 3-5-2, og det betød, at Lund igen var en del af startopstillingen ved siden af Jeppe Tverskov og Kasper Larsen.

Efter denne sæson udløber forsvarsspillerens kontrakt med OB, og som det ser ud lige nu, så er der ikke gang i forhandlingerne om en ny aftale.

– Jeg har snakket med Michael (Hemmingsen, red.) meget overfladisk omkring det. Men som udgangspunkt er der ikke noget i gang lige nu.

Hvor lang tid kan du vente? Det må jo heller ikke være sjovt at gå og ikke vide, om man skal spille i OB næste sommer, eller om du skal finde et andet sted at spille?

– Det er jo sådan, gamet er. Jeg er bare glad for at være i OB. Jeg holder rigtig meget af klubben, byen og vores fans. For mig handler det om at tage det dag for dag, og så må vi se, hvad det ender ud med. Jeg nyder at komme på arbejde hver dag og give den en skalle til træning, og være en del af den gruppe her som er helt fantastisk. Selvfølgelig tænker jeg da over det, men nu må vi se, hvad vi kan finde ud af.

Der er snart kun to måneder til, du må snakke med andre klubber. Du kan vel heller ikke holde andre klubber hen i lang tid, fordi du venter på OB?

– Nej, selvfølgelig kan jeg ikke det. Jeg ved også, at der har været andre klubber ude med følere omkring mig, men det har ikke været aktuelt. Jeg ser mig selv i OB lige nu. Det er her, jeg er, og det er her, jeg gerne vil bidrage til tingene. Men det er klart, at hvis der ikke kommer en afklaring, vil det naturlige være, at man begynder at kigge andre veje. Ikke fordi det er aktuelt lige nu, men det vil det før eller siden blive.

De næste måneder kan også vise sig at være ret vigtige for Lunds fremtid. Hvis han kommer til at bruge mest tid på bænken, er det ikke sikkert, det er så interessant for ham at forlænge kontrakten med OB.
