Michelsen: Vi glæder os til foråret

Der har efterhånden været gang i opstarten i Ådalen i noget tid, og nu er man også snart nået til det, der er blevet trænet op til.

Onsdag aften starter Superligaen nemlig igen for OB’s vedkommende, når de spiller på hjemmebane mod Lyngby, og Jakob Michelsen har været meget glad for vinterens opstart.

– Vi har endnu til gode at høre en træner sige, man har haft en dårlig opstart. Men jeg synes virkelig, vi har haft en god opstart. Det har været kort og intenst, og til trods for at vi ikke har været i udlandet, har vi nået det, vi skal nå. Spillerne er i god form, og vi virker klar til et intenst forår.

Hele opstarten har foregået på kunst, da der simpelthen ikke har været nogle muligheder for at komme ud og spille på græs.

– Det er ingen hemmelighed, at jeg rigtig gerne ville have trænet på græs noget tidligere, men det tror jeg også, mange af vores modstandere gerne ville. Det er nok de færreste der har det, så det er ens for alle, og det skal vi ikke tude over, og det gør spillerne bestemt heller ikke.

– Der er masser af humør på, der bliver gået til stålet, og der er god konkurrence om pladserne. Der er i det hele taget en god stemning i truppen, og vi glæder os til foråret og til at spille mod Lyngby på onsdag.

Ved man noget om tilstanden på Odense Stadion?

– Jeg går ud fra, den er grøn med hvide striber på. Det er jo ens for begge mandskaber, men den er garanteret pænere, når vi starter, end når vi har spillet den tredje kamp på ti dage derude.

Er der nogle ting, du er usikker på omkring holdet inden kampen på onsdag?

– Nej, det er der faktisk ikke. Det er den samme trup, som der var i efteråret. Jeg har arbejdet længe med spillerne, og vi er klar. Der er ikke noget, der kan overraske os. I hvert fald ikke det, vi selv kan gøre noget ved.
