Afstemning: Årtiets profil i OB

Når 2019 bliver til 2020 er det samtidig afslutningen på et årti. Dog nok et årti der ikke vil blive skrevet i historiebøgerne i OB, da det resultatmæssigt ikke har været alt for godt.

Vi har alligevel sat os for at kåre ‘Årtiets profil i OB’, og vi har spurgt jer om, hvem der skulle være blandt kandidaterne til prisen.

Der var ikke nogle kriterier for at komme med på listen, det er udelukkende navne, som i mener, har gjort et stort indtryk i løbet af dette årti.

De nominerede er:

Jesper Hansen
Siden 2013 har Jesper Hansen været sportsdirektør i OB, men det er dog slut ved udgangen af januar 2020. Han har været en del udskældt, da nogle fans ikke mener, OB har rykket sig nok under ham. Han har også fået en del kritik for nogle af hans handler.
Jesper Hansen har dog været manden, der har gjort, hvad ingen andre har formået, nemlig at få sat skub i faciliteterne, både med baner og det nye Superligahus. Ungdomsafdelingen har også rykket sig meget under ham.
Det er også ham, der har ansat nøglepersoner som Tonny Hermansen og Jakob Michelsen.

Hans Henrik Andreasen
Han kom til OB inden dette årti, men han var der også i nogle år inde i dette årti. Hans Henrik Andreasen var en målfarlig midtbanespiller, der var en vigtig brik på holdet, som han dog forlod i januar 2013. Han var også manden bag målet, der sikrede OB sejren på 1-0 over Villarreal på Odense Stadion i 2011.

Bashkim Kadrii
I starten af dette årti var det en ung Bashkim Kadrii, der var på holdet i OB. Han udviklede sig hurtigt til en stor profil på holdet, inden han i 2014 skiftede til FCK. I sommeren 2018 kom han tilbage til OB, og blev topscorer i sidste sæson, ligesom han også er topscorer i denne sæson. I dette årti har Bashkim Kadrii spillet seks sæsoner i OB, og han er den spiller, der har scoret næstflest Superligamål for OB i dette årti.

Espen Ruud
Den norske fighter var i OB, da 2009 blev til 2010, og han var i Odense helt frem til 1. januar 2015, hvor han tog hjem til Norge. Ruud gav altid alt, hvad han havde for den stribede trøje, og han var nok også den bedste back i Superligaen, da han var på sit højeste. Nordmanden kunne nemt sætte sig i respekt overfor modstanderen, uden dog at gå over grænsen. Han er klart en af dem, fansene husker.

Jakob Michelsen
Efter tre sløje sæsoner under Kent Nielsen blev Jakob Michelsen ansat som ny træner i sommeren 2018. Han har derfor ikke været ret lang tid i OB i dette årti, men han har alligevel sat sit aftryk. Efter en skidt start på sidste sæson fik han holdet til at spille god fodbold, og en imponerende stime sikrede en plads i top seks for første gang siden 2011, og selvom det blev til en 5. plads, var det ikke meget, der skulle have gået anderledes, før OB havde stået med en bronzemedalje.
Michelsen arbejder godt med holdet, og det er tydeligt at se, at OB har en rigtig dygtig træner.

Rasmus Falk
Rasmus Falk optrådte for OB fra sommeren 2010 til sommeren 2016, og er derfor en af dem, der har været i OB i længst tid i dette årti. Han var en af de bedste spillere i den periode, selvom man måske kan argumentere for, at der ikke kom nok mål fra ham. Han var en stor fan-favorit, da han ofte blev kåret til Man of the match på Odense Stadion, men hans skifte til FCK i 2016 gjorde ondt.

Anders Møller Christensen
Den stærke forsvarsspiller kom til klubben allerede i 2006, men spillede også en stor rolle i starten af dette årti. Man kunne altid være sikker på, at han kæmpede røven ud af bukserne, og han forlod aldrig banen uden jord på knæene. Han var anfører for holdet, indtil han spillede sin sidste kamp for OB i sommeren 2014.

Thomas Helveg
Det er godt nok ikke en stor rolle, Thomas Helveg har spillet i OB i dette årti. Og så alligevel..
Han spillede sin sidste professionelle fodboldkamp i december 2010, hvor OB vandt 6-0 over AaB i snevejr på Odense Stadion. En kamp vi alle husker.
Helveg var dog også manden, der i et interview med TV2 Sport forholdt sig kritisk til træner Lars Olsen, og det endte ud i en fyring af både ham, Viggo Jensen og Kim Brink. Helveg skal nok ikke have skylden for fyringerne, men mon ikke det alligevel var lidt medvirkende til det.

Sten Grytebust
Den norske målmand kom til OB i 2016, hvor klubben havde haft svært ved at finde både kontinuitet og kvalitet på målmandsposten. Han var her i nogle sæsoner, hvor det resultatmæssigt ikke så ret godt ud, og han formåede at være kampafgørende og redde point. Man kan så tænke over, hvor OB havde ligget, hvis man ikke havde haft en målmand, der var så afgørende. Han vandt Det Gyldne Bur to gange, inden han tog til FCK i sommers.

Daniel Høegh
I sommeren 2010 fik den dengang 19-årige Daniel Høegh sin Superligadebut for OB. Han udviklede sig til at være en klar publikumsyndling, grundet hans store passion for klubben. Han gik forrest i de svære tider, og han var ikke bange for at vise sine følelser, når det ikke gik så godt. Daniel Høegh er OB’er, og han har været savnet, siden han forlod klubben til fordel for Basel i 2015.
