Oliver Lund: Vi skal have respekt for Nykøbing
I fredags leverede OB en god indsats hjemme på Odense Stadion, hvor det blev til en sejr på 2-1, efter man ellers var bagud med 1-0.
Oliver Lund var med fra start i opgøret, og han glæder sig meget over, at man kunne glæde fansene med de tre point.
– Det var en god oplevelse. Det var dejligt at få tre point. Jeg synes, vi spillede afklaret i størstedelen af kampen. Vi havde et klar udtryk, vi gerne ville have ud i kampen, og det fik vi løst.
– Det var godkendt over hele linjen, og folk arbejdede hårdt, og støttede hinanden. Det var rigtig positivt, synes jeg.
I forhold til vores situation hvor vigtigt var det så med tre point?
– Det er jo vigtigt, at det hele ikke lige pludselig knækker over i ligaen, så det var super vigtigt at få holdt trit med de øvrige hold i ligaen, og ikke få meldt sig ud af det top 6 ræs.
Kampen mod AaB var samtidig Oliver Lunds kamp nummer 100 for OB, og forsvarsspilleren er meget stolt af at runde den milepæl.
– Det er selvfølgelig specielt. Jeg vidste jo godt, det var kamp nummer 100, så det lå lidt i baghovedet på mig op til kampen. Det var lidt specielt, for jeg føler på mange måder en stor samhørighed med klubben, så på den måde var det meget specielt og en stor milepæl i karrieren for mig personligt. Det var stort, og det er jeg enormt stolt af.
I morgen spiller OB mod Nykøbing i Pokalturneringen, men det har været en lidt speciel optakt til kampen, da træningen mandag blev aflyst af frygt for Covid-19 smitte.
Tirsdag kom det så frem, at Mads Frøkjær er testet positiv, mens resten af holdet er testet negativ. Spillerne måtte dog komme omklædte til træning, da Superligahuset var lukket ned og medarbejderne sendt hjem.
– Det er selvfølgelig en ukonventionel måde at have optakt til en kamp på. Vi lever alle sammen i det her coronaunivers, og prøver at navigere på bedst mulige måde i det, og jeg synes, de mennesker i klubben, der skal stå for at få tingene til at gå op, de gør et kæmpe stykke arbejde, og så er det bare for os om at reagere på de meldinger, vi får.
– I forhold til hvad det betyder for kampen, er det svært at sige. Vi skal op imod et rigtig godt Nykøbing-hold, som er helt suveræne i 2. division, men alt andet lige er vi favoritter, og skal også tage selvtilliden fra sidste kamp med ud til kampen og forhåbentlig komme til at dominere kampen.

– Jeg spillede jo mod dem forrige sæson i 1. division, og der var de også et solidt hold, og havde nogle gode spillere. Nu solgte de jo Emil Holten til Silkeborg, men de har stadig nogle rigtig dygtige spillere, og de er suverænt det bedste hold i 2. division. Det er en opgave, vi skal gå ind til med en vis portion respekt.
