– Ja, det er vi meget tilfredse med. Vi er glade og stolte over det. Især taget i betragtning af den start vi fik, at vi så har afgjort det, inden vi skal ud og spille den sidste runde, det skal spillerne og den dygtige stab, jeg har omkring mig, have kæmpe ros for.

Til kampen mod AGF i mandags kom OB blæsende ud i de første minutter, og det var også en del af den taktiske plan.

– Vi startede rigtig godt, og så var der en periode, hvor vi gør AGF gode ved at sætte bolden på spil på nogle forkerte tidspunkter, så de får nogle omstillinger. Ellers synes jeg, vi er i kontrol, og vi skal jo foran både lige før pausen og lige efter pausen. Så scorer de et mål, hvor vi ellers har vist rigtig meget video af det løb fra deres kanter, så det var lidt irriterende, men vi viste stærk moral igen, og skifter om til 4-4-2, som bliver lidt mere offensivt, og så får vi det vendt. Så det var dejligt.

Hvilke overvejelser lå der til grund for det de gange, du valgte at ændre formation?

– Vi skulle op og jagte endnu mere. Vi ved godt, at når vi går fra det ene til det andet, så er der både fordele og ulemper ved begge systemet. Vi kunne sætte endnu mere tryk på i 4-4-2, men det giver også dem nogle flere omstillinger, og det er jo der, de har deres to store chancer i anden halvleg, både til Tobias Sana og Patrick Mortensen, efter vi har sadlet om. Efter vi kom bagud, var det en måde at lægge endnu mere tryk på, og da vi fører 2-1, går vi så tilbage igen, og lukker kampen der.

Under Jakob Michelsen har spillerne vist, at de uden problemer kan omstille sig fra 3-5-2 til 4-4-2, men træneren vil ikke tage hele æren for det.

– Jeg ved ikke, om det er ekstra sjovt. Det er altid sjovt at vinde fodboldkampe, og uanset hvem vi havde mødt i mandags, så var det vigtigt at få tre point, i forhold til at indfri sæsonmålsætningen.

– Det er klart, at når man bor i byen, så er det sjovere at vinde end at tabe, for så skal man ikke høre på så mange drillerier.

Efter sæsonens første seks kampe stod vi med to point. Havde du i din vildeste fantasi forestillet dig, at vi kunne stå med en sikker tredjeplads med én kamp tilbage i grundspillet?

– Nej, så var jeg nok blevet kørt på den lukkede afdeling ude på Risskov psykiatriske hospital, hvis jeg havde sagt det højt.

Er du forbavset over, at du har rykket holdet så meget på så forholdsvis kort tid?

– Nej, jeg synes, det er overraskende, at vi har lavet så mange point, når man tænker på, at vi lå med to point efter seks kampe.
