Oliver Lund spekulerer ikke i trænerens job

Efter en længere fodboldpause grundet coronaen var OB igen i kamp i Superligaen mandag aften, hvor det blev til et nederlag på 1-0 ude mod AGF.

Oliver Lund var med fra start i opgøret i Århus, og han glæder sig over, at der nu igen bliver spillet kampe med noget på spil.

– Det var dejligt at få nogle meter i benene, og det var dejligt at have følelsen af, at man spiller noget konkurrencefodbold igen. Det var dejligt at komme ud og konkurrere mod et af de mest formstærke hold i Danmark. Selvfølgelig er vi skuffet over resultatet, men nu er vi i gang, og det er nu, det gælder.

Selvom OB tabte kampen, mener Lund alligevel, at der er nogle ting, der er værd at tage med videre til de kommende kampe.

– Jeg synes, vi spiller os til nogle chancer, vi forsvarer med stor ære, og vi har en god indstilling helt grundlæggende. Det synes jeg bestemt, er værd at tage med. Selvom vi ikke har vundet i noget tid, så klør vi på, og vi gør, hvad vi kan for at komme igennem det og få den sejr.

– Vi kommer ud med en god indstilling. Når man ikke har vundet i noget tid, kan man godt komme ud med sådan en lidt vag indstilling, men jeg synes virkelig, at vi kæmper for det i øjeblikket, og vi viser en god attitude, som der skal til i den her periode.

Nederlaget til AGF betyder, at OB nu har spillet ti kampe i træk i Superligaen uden at vinde, men der er stadig optimisme at spore i truppen.

– Vi er fortrøstningsfulde på trods af, at det ikke lige er gået vores vej, og det er noget tid siden, det er gået vores vej. Jeg tror ikke, jeg var den eneste, der følte inden kampen i mandags, at folk var, hvor de skulle være, og hvis man ser kampen, tror jeg heller ikke, man er i tvivl om, at folk vil give alt inde på den bane, for at vi kommer ud af den her dårlige stime, vi er inde i.

Inden den sidste kamp i grundspillet ligger OB nummer ti i tabellen, og det kan se rigtig grimt ud efter på søndag. Spillerne skal dog være klar til at give alt på søndag mod Esbjerg.

– Vi havde selvfølgelig håbet på mere, men nu er vi der, hvor vi er, og der er kun én at pege fingre af, og det er os selv. Så det er noget med at hanke op i os selv og så bevise, at vi er til mere. Nu glippede top seks jo allerede inden alt det her corona, så vi har haft noget tid til at omstille os oveni vores hoveder og være klar, og det synes jeg også, vi viste i den første kamp, at vi var, men nu har vi en kamp på søndag, hvor vi skal efterlade alt ude på den bane og vise, at vi står sammen, og vi kæmper for hinanden og for klubben.

I kampen på søndag er det ikke nødvendigvis kun de tre point, der er på spil. Træner Jakob Michelsens job kan også afhænge af, hvordan det går. Det er dog ikke noget, Lund spekulerer på.
