Bechmann: Michelsen bliver en succes i OB
OB præsenterede i går formiddags deres nye træner, og valget er faldet på Jakob Michelsen, der tidligere på året blev fyret i den svenske klub Hammarby.
Tidligere har han dog skabt nogle rigtig gode resultater med både Hobro og Skive i divisionerne, men den største bedrift var hans hidtil eneste hele sæson i Superligaen, hvor han førte SønderjyskE frem til et sæt meget overraskende sølvmedaljer.
En af dem der spillede på holdet dengang, var Tommy Bechmann, og han fortæller, at han var lidt skeptisk, da Michelsen blev ansat i klubben, men det blev der hurtigt lavet om på.
– Da Jakob kom til SønderjyskE var jeg noget skeptisk da det var en ung træner der er marginalt ældre end mig og som aldrig selv har spillet på top niveau, men jeg tror vi havde været i rum sammen i 5 min før jeg var overbevist om at han var en dygtig træner. Han kom ind med et engagement og drive som jeg ikke har oplevet før. Jakob er en træner der var meget vellidt i truppen fordi han kunne både sidde og hygge med spillerne men kunne også sætte sig i den fornødne respekt når det var tid til det. Jakob er en taktisk dygtig træner som i SE havde en helt klar spillestil som han gerne ville udvikle på i løbet af sæsonen, siger Bechmann til OBstruktion.
Bechmann er overbevist om, at Michelsen med hans kvaliteter kan blive en rigtig stor succes i den fynske klub.
– Jeg er sikker på at Jakob bliver en succes, ikke kun pga. hans personlighed men også hans dygtige taktiske egenskaber samt det at han er god til at få det bedste ud af hans spillere.
