Tidligere på ugen spillede OB på hjemmebane mod FC Midtjylland i den første af to kvartfinaler i pokalturneringen, og her måtte hjemmeholdet se sig besejret med 2-1.

Kasper Larsen spillede hele kampen for OB, og han er ærgerlig over, at fynboerne ikke fik et bedre resultat med fra opgøret.

– Jeg synes, det var en tæt kamp. Jeg synes egentlig, vi lukkede fint nok af, de kommer ikke til de helt store. Jeg synes egentlig også, vi kommer frem til nogle chancer, hvor man kan sige, at hvis man skal have noget med mod FC Midtjylland, så skal man score på chancerne, man får og lukke af bagved. Det lykkedes næsten, så det er ærgerligt, vi ikke lige får et resultat.

I næste måned er der returkamp i Herning, og selvom chancerne bestemt ikke ser så gode ud nu, vil Larsen ikke kaste håndklædet i ringen.

– Det er klart, det havde set anderledes ud, hvis vi i hvert fald havde fået uafgjort. Det bliver en svær udekamp, men hvis vi kan komme ud med en god energi, tro på det og måske få et hurtigt mål, så ser det lige pludselig fint ud.

Med en kamp igen allerede på søndag kommer kampene meget tæt i øjeblikket, og selvom det er en lidt speciel situation, så har forsvarsspilleren det fint med de mange kampe.

– Det er selvfølgelig specielt, også med det underlag, vi spiller på. Det bliver spændende at se, hvordan tilstanden er på søndag. Personligt har jeg ikke noget imod at spille mange kampe, det er jo ens for alle.

Søndag aften spiller OB på hjemmebane mod AGF, og her kan Kasper Larsen se frem til en kamp mod et godt hold, hvor der dog er en chance for OB.

– Det er et godt hold. De har fundet en god base og et godt flow i spillet. Men hvis vi spiller op til vores bedste, er de da til at snakke med.
