Efter Corona-pausen spillede OB egentlig to ganske fornuftige kampe mod AGF og Esbjerg, hvor det blev til et nederlag og en sejr.

Mandag aften spillede OB så i Silkeborg, og her blev det til en alvorlig snitter på hele 6-0. Det var en grim omgang for både spillere og fans.

– Der er bare rigtig mange ting, der går galt på både kryds og tværs, og det er selvfølgelig ikke okay. Men heldigvis er der kort tid til den næste kamp, hvor vi kan gå ud og vise, at det var en enlig svale.

Hvordan er det at være forsvarsspiller i en kamp, hvor man lukker seks mål ind?

– Det er det værste. Jeg synes, det er lige så meget måden, man gør det på. Man kan godt tabe til et bedre hold, men at gå i opløsning klæder sgu ikke nogen, heller ikke os. Dem der skammer sig mest, er os spillere, der løber rundt inde på banen. Så må folk tro deres, men det er faktisk sådan, det er.

– Vi kan ikke vente med at få muligheden for at revanchere det her, og jeg tror godt, folk kan forvente, at det er noget lidt andet, der kommer på banen torsdag.

Oliver Christensen var egentlig meldt klar til kampen, men måtte så alligevel melde fra kort før kampstart, så Mande Sayouba kom på mål. Det fik dog ikke nogen betydning ifølge Lund.

– Nej, det gjorde det ikke. Jeg har før været med, hvor der skulle skiftes en målmand lige tæt inden kampstart, og det kan godt skabe lidt usikkerhed, men vi har så meget tiltro til Mande, og han er så dygtig en målmand, så jeg tror ikke, der var nogen, der skænkede det en tanke overhovedet. At vi så ikke kan give ham en bedre oplevelse, og så endda på hans fødselsdag, det er skrækkeligt. Det hører sgu ikke nogen steder hjemme.

– Heldigvis er Mande så rutineret og så professionel en fodboldspiller, at det tager han i stiv arm, og så er jeg sikker på, at hvis Oliver ikke er klar på torsdag, så står han en brandkamp, for sådan er han sgu indrettet. Så nej, det skænkede vi ikke nogen tanke.

Hvordan var stemningen i omklædningsrummet efter kampen?

– Skrækkelig. Den var skrækkelig. Vi skal nok få at vide, hvor ringe vi er af alle omkring os, men dem der kigger mest kritisk på os, det er sgu os selv. Det kan man godt undre sig over, hvis man hører, hvad andre tænker om en, men dem der er mest kritiske, det er os selv, og det er også sådan, det skal være.

– Vi er konkurrencemennesker, og når man går ud, og leverer sådan noget der, så er det ens stolthed, der lider et knæk. Det er for mig personligt noget af det værste. Det ser jeg helst ikke ske igen.

OB skal i kamp mod SønderjyskE allerede torsdag aften, og Marco Lund ser det som en fordel, at den næste kamp kommer så hurtigt.

– Klart. Det synes jeg klart, det er. Jeg tror ikke, der er mange af os, der fik mange timers søvn efter kampen, så hvis man skal bruge alt for mange dage på at gå og tænke over sådan en præstation, så ville det påvirke ens humør for meget i forhold til forberedelserne til næste kamp. Nu kan man pga. omstændighederne og det tætte kampprogram blive nødsaget til at lægge den her kamp lidt til siden og kigge frem mod næste opgave, som er sindssygt vigtig. Med en sejr der ligger vi jo godt til igen, så det er jo ikke værre, end at vi selv kan gå ind og afgøre det.
