Tverskov: Ikke samme SønderjyskE som tidligere

Resultatmæssigt har de sidste to kampe i Superligaen ikke været ret gode for OB, da de senest spillede 0-0 i Hobro, og før det tabte de 2-0 til FC Nordsjælland i Farum.

I den kommende runde spiller OB på hjemmebane mod SønderjyskE, og Jeppe Tverskov mener, at det bliver en anderledes opgave, end det hidtil har været mod klubben fra Haderslev.

– Det bliver lidt anderledes, end mange af de andre SønderjyskE-kampe, tror jeg. Siden sidst vi mødte dem i Superligaen, har de ændret spillestil en smule, så jeg tror, vi skal gå til dem med en lidt anden tilgang, end vi skulle før.

– Jeg synes, de har fået en fin start på sæsonen, og har set gode ud spillemæssigt. Det skal vi i hvert fald have noget respekt for.

I de seneste kampe er der kommet noget mere skik på det defensive, hvor de seneste fire kampe har givet tre cleen sheats, og Tverskov erkender også, at det har været på bekostning af det offensive.

– Ja, det har det jo nok været, desværre. Men det var det jo også i sidste sæson, hvor vi havde fået en dårlig start, og derfor prioriterede, at der skulle lukkes af til at starte med, og så måtte vi bygge resten på fremadrettet, hvilket vi også fik gjort. Det har været lidt for meget på bekostning af det offensive indtil videre, men omvendt kan det godt være, at vi ikke dominerer spillet mod Hobro så meget, som vi gerne vil, men vi kommer stadig frem til de chancer, vi skal bruge for at vinde kampen.

– Vi er længere, end vi var sidste år, men det er klart, at prioriteten lige har været at lukke af bagtil, og det har også set fint ud i de sidste par kampe.

Er der noget, vi skal være særligt opmærksomme på i kampen mod SønderjyskE?

– Vi spillede en træningskamp mod dem i opstarten, så vi kan huske lidt derfra. Jeg tror, det er fint for dem, at vi mødte dem der, for det var efter en periode, hvor vi havde været på træningslejr, og de kom ud til kampen med mere energi end os. Vi har for øje, at det er et hold, der spiller med meget energi og power, mange løb, og det er noget, vi skal være opmærksomme på. Det kan komme lige fra kanterne til backerne, som også er meget offensive. De har flere tangenter at spille på, hvilket vi er klar over, og det skal vi have respekt for.

Kan vi bruge den træningskamp, vi spillede mod dem til noget overhovedet?

– Ja, det kan vi. Man kunne se mange af de mønstre, de gerne ville spille i, og for os var det lidt et wake up call der i sommeren. Vi havde lige været på træningslejr, og kom direkte hjem og skulle spille den kamp, så folk havde tunge ben. Folk fik lidt mere respekt for, at det var en anden type SønderjyskE, end det vi havde kendt før. Det er måske fint nok, så man ikke fuldstændig naivt går op i fuldbanepres med dem. De har en masse dygtige fodboldspillere, men man har jo også kunne se på TV, at de har udviklet sig, hvis man har set fodbold de sidste par uger.

Siden 2013 har OB kun vundet en enkelt kamp mod SønderjyskE i Superligaen, men det er dog ikke en statistik, forsvarsspilleren går op i.

– Jeg ved godt, i elsker at gå ned i sådan nogle statistikker, men der er bare så mange hold, der bliver skiftet så meget ud, nærmest bare på en sæson. Vi har nye spillere, siden vi mødte dem sidst, og det har de også. Jeg lægger ikke ret meget i sådan nogle statistikker, med mindre det er et hold, man har mødt lige her for nyligt, som man kan genkende i forhold til spillestil, og det ene og det andet.

– Først og fremmest er det jo nok fordi, det er et godt hold. De er svære at spille imod. Tidligere har de haft en spillestil, som de har været meget tro overfor, og det har ikke altid været nemt at åbne dem, og så har de ligget og luret på omstillinger. Nu kan de lidt flere ting. De kan både køre omstillinger rigtig hurtigt, men de er også blevet meget dygtigere på bolden og til at kontrollere kampen.

– Jeg ved ikke, hvad årsagen kan være. Som sagt er det et godt hold, der er svær at spille imod. Men jeg synes, de har ændret sig lidt.

Jeppe Tverskov har samlet så mange point sammen, at han får karantæne ved hans næste gule kort, men det er ikke noget, han løber, og tænker over.

– Nej, det gør jeg ikke. Det er jo ofte ikke bevidst, at man får et gult kort. Man gør det fordi, man kan se, det er nødvendigt, eller at man kommer for sent i en tackling. Det er ikke noget, jeg tænker over. Jeg spiller, som jeg altid gør, og hvis det kræves, at der skal tages et gult kort på et givent tidspunkt, så tager jeg den.
