OB fik en god start på sæsonen i Superligaen, da de vandt over FC Midtjylland i Herning, og fulgte op med en uafgjort ude mod Randers.

Søndag aften spillede de så sæsonens første hjemmekamp mod FCK, og her sluttede det så også med at være ubesejret for fynboerne.

Københavnerne vandt nemlig kampen med 2-0, og Mads Frøkjær erkender, at det var et godt hold, man mødte.

– FCK startede godt, og vi formår ikke rigtigt at trykke dem de første 20-25 minutter. Derfra begynder vi at tage fat i bolden, og jeg synes egentlig, vi spiller kontrolleret. Jeg føler ikke på noget tidspunkt, at det går helt galt.

– Vi når aldrig rigtigt at blive farlige. Vi spiller den fint ind i mellemrummene eller højt ude på backen nogle gange, men derfra mangler den sidste kvalitet eller det sidste held.

– De var kyniske, og så er det også bare FCK, de kan ikke blive ved med at spille så ringe, som de har gjort. De gjorde det godt, den ros skal de også have. Men udover de første 20 minutter så føler jeg, at vi kan være fint tilfredse med det, vi leverer.

Det var samtidig også første gang i halvandet år, der ikke var begrænsning på, hvor mange tilskuere, der måtte være til kampen, og der var derfor mødt 12.500 tilskuere op.

Der havde også været en fanmarch til stadion, der sluttede af med at tage imod spillerne, da de kom til stadion. Generelt havde hele optakten lugtet af fodboldfest, men det sluttede dog uden det helt store brag på banen.

– Når først man er på banen, så forholder man sig til det, der sker på banen. Så er man i en eller anden form for vakuum, og hører kun sine egne tanker.

– Men alt det op til betyder alverden. Det gør det 40 gange sjovere at spille, og det gør, at man har 40 gange mere lyst til at løbe og kæmpe for dem, der står derude. Vi elsker den opbakning, og vi håber, vi kan gøre os fortjent til at få den, hver eneste gang vi spiller på hjemmebane.

– Når man først er på banen, kan man selvfølgelig godt høre støjen, men man er i det der vacuum, og forholder sig bare til det, der sker foran en, og prøver at holde støjen udefra væk, selvom det giver energi.

Det var første gang under Andreas Alm, Frøkjær startede inde i en Superligakamp, og han synes selv, han slap nogenlunde fra det, selvom han mener, han nok skal opsøge chancerne noget mere.

– Jeg synes, det var meget ligesom resten af holdet. Der var fine rum. Jeg slipper okay af med bolden. Jeg føler ikke, der var nogle brølere på bolden, og jeg føler også, jeg laver nogle tilbageløb. Det kunne godt være, jeg skulle lidt længere ned på deres mål, det er svært at sige.

– Det gik fint nok, men jeg synes også, der er for mange gange, hvor jeg står bagefter, og tænker, at præstationen var fin nok, men den sidste aflevering manglede, og jeg fik ikke nogen afslutning. Jeg skal måske opsøge mulighederne lidt mere, i stedet for at være lige ved og næsten.
