OC var upopulær i Herning: Jeg griner nu efter de tre point
Fredag aften blev Superligaen endelig sparket i gang igen efter sommerferien, og for OB’s vedkommende lagde de ud med en svær udekamp mod sidste sæsons sølvvindere fra FC Midtjylland.
Den unge målmand, Oliver Christensen, er glad for at være i gang igen, og at der igen er noget at spille om i kampene.
– Det er dejligt. Det er altid dejligt at spille om point, og vi får en fantastisk start på sæsonen, så det kunne ikke have været meget bedre.
OB tog de tre point med hjem efter en sejr på 2-1, og målmanden så en rigtig flot præstation fra holdet.
– Jeg synes, det er en meget lige fodboldkamp. Der er perioder, hvor vi bliver presset lidt for meget tilbage, i forhold til hvad vi gerne vil, men vi løser det fint. Det er et svært sted at spille, og FC Midtjylland er et godt fodboldhold, så man kan heller ikke diktere alle 90 minutter.
– Vi gjorde mange ting rigtigt, og vi forsvarede rigtig godt. Det er jo ikke fordi, de vælter i chancer i løbet af kampen, især ikke i første halvleg, der har de ikke det helt store, så vi er rigtig godt tilfreds med kampen.
Så det ud på banen, som i havde snakket om inden kampen?
– Ja i nogle dele så det meget godt ud. Men man kan jo lægge taktikker og gameplan, men nogle gange er modstanderen også dygtig, og så ændrer de sig en lille smule. De spillede måske også en lille smule længere, end hvad vi havde regnet med. De lægger lidt flere lange bolde, og det gør det selvfølgelig svært at komme op i pres, i forhold til hvad vi gerne vil.
– Men jeg synes langt hen ad vejen, kampen forløber, som vi gerne vil have, og stor cadeau til hele holdet for det. Det var en mandfolkeindsats, vi leverede i dag.
Under kampen var Christensen ikke den mest populære mand på stadion, da hjemmeholdets fans buhede af ham, og kom med en del tilråb. Det var dog ikke noget, målmanden lod sig slå ud af.
– Det er fint. Det er dejligt, der er fans igen. De buher, og råber diverse ting efter en, og det er altid dejligt. Det giver kun ekstra motivation, når de ikke kan lide en, så det er dejligt. Her bagefter er det så mig, der står, og griner, fordi vi fik de tre point.
Det afgørende mål til 2-1 blev scoret af Jørgen Skjelvik direkte på hjørnespark i dommerens tillægstid, men det var helt fortjent, hvis man spørger manden i målet.
– Det synes jeg faktisk. Efter 70-75 minutter begynder vi at sætte os på kampen, og vi har nogle gode muligheder. Efter Isaksen brænder en stor chance, får vi lidt momentum, og har de bedste chancer de sidste 20 minutter. Vi skaber en del gode muligheder, så hvis man kigger på chancer, synes jeg egentlig, det var meget fortjent. Jeg føler, vi har de største chancer, især til sidst.
Hvad betyder det for os, at vi starter ud med tre point i Herning?
– Det er altid dejligt at få en god start på sæsonen. Så er man i gang, og så kan man arbejde videre på de ting, som man har arbejdet på hele preseason. Det er fantastisk at være i gang igen, og så med tre point på en svær udebane. Vi var ikke så flittige til at vinde i Jylland i sidste sæson, så det er dejligt at lægge ud med det, og så må vi se. Vi har en udekamp i næste weekend igen, også i Jylland, og forhåbentlig kan vi fortsætte stimen.
– Det er dejligt at være i gang igen. Vi skal bare arbejde benhårdt, og så skal pointene nok komme.
