Jacob Barrett åbnede målscoringen i eftermiddagens kamp mod Randers, da han gjorde det til 1-0 fem minutter før pausen, da han hamrede til bolden fra distancen lige efter et hjørnespark.

Den scoring mindede om noget, vi har set Jens Jakob Thomasen gøre mod Horsens og Fremad Amager, men da vi spurgte Barrett, mente han dog ikke, det var noget, han havde lært af holdkammeraten.

– Hahaha, jeg kan sige så meget, at jeg så ham gøre det ovre i Fremad Amager, og så tænkte jeg, at det kan jeg vel også, siger Barrett med et grin til OBstruktion.

Du mener altså ikke, det var så svært? 

– Nej, det er ikke sværere.

Det var dog alligevel en rar følelse for ham at se bolden gå i mål, og samtidg kunne han også glæde sig over, at det var hans første mål.

– Det er skønt. Det er mit første mål, og jeg har efterhånden spillet en del kampe, så jeg trængte til at komme på tavlen, og det kommer i en kamp, hvor vi spiller super godt, så det er så skønt.

Fra tribunen var det tydeligt at se den spillemæssige forskel på 1. og 2. halvleg, og det kunne Barrett også se fra banen, hvor han mente, at 2. halvleg var rigtig god.

– 1. halvleg er meget op og ned. De har noget, og vi har noget og så alligevel ikke helt. Vi får heldigvis scoret med fem minutter igen. I 2. halvleg er vi bare kølige, og spiller rigtig godt fodbold, så det skal vi huske at tage med.

Randers scorede det reducerende mål til 3-1 kort før tid, og den scoring ærgrer Barrett, der mener, at OB skulle have holdt nullet i kampen.

– Selvfølgelig ærgrer den mig, især fordi jeg synes, der var offside. Udover det er det selvfølgelig træls. Vi skulle have holdt nullet i den her kamp, for de var ikke bedre.

Vi havde Barrett som kampens bedste spiller, og det samme havde tilskuerne på Odense Stadion. Han er da også glad for roserne, men han fremhæver dog sejren over hans egen præstation.
