Jesper Hansen sluttede af med manér

Tilbage i oktober meldte Jesper Hansen ud, at han ville stoppe som sportsdirektør i OB 1. februar, efter seks og et halvt år i klubben.

Inden han kunne stoppe, skulle han lige have kørt januars transfervindue igennem. Michael Hemmingsen blev godt nok ansat som sportschef i starten af januar, men der er ikke blevet lagt skjul på, at det er Jesper Hansen, der har haft ansvaret for det her vindue.

Selvom han vidste, at det var hans sidste vindue, og han var færdig i OB lige bagefter, så har han bestemt ikke ligget på den lade side. Han har haft travlt. Rigtig travlt.

Allerede inden nytår kom der to nye spillere ind. Mikkel Hyllegaard som havde trænet med Superligaholdet det meste af efteråret, havde vist sig så godt frem, at den unge og lynhurtige angriber fik en kontrakt.

Der kom også en islandsk forstærkning til holdet, da man hentede Aron Thrandarsson i norske Aalesund som forstærkning til midtbanen.

Januar var heller ikke mange dage gammel, før det første salg kom, og det var nok en stor overraskelse for mange. Ramon Leeuwin havde været fast mand på holdet i efteråret, men med kontraktudløb efter sæsonen, var der en del spekulationer om hans fremtid.

Der var ikke noget, der pegede på, at OB ville forlænge Leeuwins kontrakt ved udløb, og derfor var det et rigtigt stærkt salg, at man sendte ham til AZ Alkmaar, der ligger nummer to i den hollandske Æresdivision, og kunne tjene en skilling på en aldrende hollænder.

Som erstatning for Leeuwin blev Kasper Larsen hentet ind. En tidligere OB-dreng der har været en tur i udlandet og få noget hår på brystet, for så at komme hjem til Ådalen i hans bedste fodboldalder. Det virker umiddelbart til at være et skridt op, i hvert fald på sigt, i forhold til Leeuwin.

Udover Kasper Larsen blev Alexander Juel også hentet ind til defensiven tidligt i januar. Han var godt nok også i klubben i efteråret, hvor vi lejede ham i Vendsyssel, men den aftale udløb ved årsskiftet.

Inde i januar så det ellers ikke ud til, at han skulle komme tilbage til OB, da vi ikke udnyttede vores købsoption på ham, men alligevel blev han lige pludselig trukket i land på en permanent aftale.

OB viste også rettidig omhu allerede tidligt i transfervinduet ved at skrive forhåndskontrakter med både Mart Lieder og Emmanuel Sabbi, og især sidstnævnte var en signing, der for alvor fik de fynske fans op af stolene.

Mod vinduets slutning gik det igen stærkt i Ådalen. Bashkim Kadrii blev solgt til Saudi Arabien, og selvom det selvfølgelig gør ondt at miste sin topscorer, så var salget en god historie for OB og Jesper Hansen.

Kadrii blev hentet i FCK for halvandet år siden for ca. en mio. kroner, og denne vinter blev han altså solgt videre, angiveligt for en pris på 10-15 mio. kroner. Det er et stærkt salg.

Mathias Greve blev solgt til Randers, mens Julius Eskesen blev solgt til SønderjyskE, som også hentede Anders K. Jacobsen, der fik sin kontrakt ophævet i OB.

Greve var muligvis den af de tre, der var tættest på holdet, men efter ankomsten af Thrandarsson, var han nok heller ikke for alvor så tæt på alligevel.

Julius Eskesen var meget langt væk fra holdet. Faktisk slet ikke i nærheden. Anders K. Jacobsen har fået lidt spilletid hist og pist, men var heller ikke på nogen måde blandt de foretrukne, og det er en stor lønpost, der er blevet sparet der.

Alt i alt var det nok meget fornuftigt at komme af med de tre, og hvis man kigger på, hvem der har erstattet hvem i truppen, så er Greve vel blevet erstattet af Thrandarsson, mens man med lidt god vilje kan sige, at AK bliver erstattet af Hyllegaard, og Eskesen var så langt væk fra holdet, at det ikke har været nødvendigt at erstatte ham.

Kadrii er så blevet erstattet af Lieder, som OB fik held til at hente med det samme i SønderjyskE, da Eskesen og AK røg den modsatte vej. Den hollandske angriber har ikke scoret så mange mål som Kadrii, så man kan måske godt forsvare at sige, at det er en lille svækkelse på den korte bane.

Det havde selvfølgelig hjulpet lidt på det, hvis OB også havde lykkedes med at hente Sabbi med det samme, men trods flere forsøg på at købe ham fri i Hobro, endte man ikke med en handel nu og her.

På transfervinduets sidste dag havde Jesper Hansen så lige en sidste kanin i hatten. Det var den norske forsvarsspiller, Jørgen Skjelvik, der blev hentet på en et-årig lejeaftale i LA Galaxy. Han kan både begå sig i det centrale forsvar og ude på venstre back. Den handel blev hevet i hus otte minutter før midnat.

Jesper Hansen har i hans tid i OB været en eget udskældt person, der har delt vandene mere end nogen anden, men hans arbejde i dette transfervindue har sgu været godt.

Udover køb og salg af spillere har han også formået at lande to vigtigt forlængelser. Den unge 3. målmand, Hans Christian Bernat, og Mads Frøkjær, der fik et lille gennembrud i efteråret, har begge forlænget deres kontrakter frem til sommeren 2024.
