I søndags hentede OB en flot sejr på 3-1 mod FC Nordsjælland, og op til den kamp var holdet hårdt ramt af skader og karantæner, så her måtte der rokeres lidt rundt på holdet.

Torsdag aften skal fynboerne igen i kamp, denne gang på udebane mod AGF i pokalturneringen, og selvom der stadig sidder folk ude med skader, og kampene lige nu ligger tæt, så er det ikke noget, Jakob Michelsen vil beklage sig over.

– Vi skal ikke tude over noget kampprogram. Hvis man sammenligner med FCK’s kampprogram, så har de stort set spillet dobbelt så mange kampe som os andre. Det skal vi ikke tude over, det er ens for både os og AGF.

– I forhold til pokalkampen får det ingen betydning, men i forhold til søndagens kamp kan det få en betydning, at Hobro ikke har spillet pokalkamp, men den tid den glæde.

Træneren kan dog glæde sig over, at Oliver Lund og Ramon Leeuwin, der sad ude med karantæne i kampen mod FC Nordsjælland, er tilgængelige igen.

– Op til FC Nordsjælland-kampen var vi presset, fordi vi havde to karantæner, og vi havde en del, der var skadede eller på vej tilbage fra skader. Der er også nogle spillere, der ikke kan spille tre kampe på en uge på nuværende tidspunkt.

OB spillede altså søndag eftermiddag mod FC Nordsjælland, mens AGF spillede mandag aften mod FCK. Det betyder altså, at OB har haft en dag mere til at hvile eller forberede sig i, men det kommer ikke til at spille den store rolle.

– Det burde ikke betyde noget. Jeg tror ikke, det får den store konsekvens i kampen torsdag aften, men til gengæld tror jeg, man er nødt til at tage Hobro-kampen med i ligningen i forhold til, de ikke spiller pokalkamp.

– Men jeg vil hellere være i vores situation end Hobros situation, i forhold til at jeg hellere vil være med i pokalturneringen end ikke med i pokalturneringen.

– Vi ville dog helst have spillet mod AGF om onsdagen, så vi havde haft længst muligt tid til på søndag, men i og med AGF havde en mandagskamp, så var det kun torsdag, og da det også blev en tv-kamp, havde vi ikke noget valg i forhold til, hvornår den skulle spilles.

De sidste gange OB og AGF har mødt hinanden, har det været nogle tætte opgør, og Michelsen regner med, at det samme bliver tilfældet torsdag aften.

– Jeg forventer som altid i de her provins-derbyer en intens og tæt affære mellem to gode fodboldhold. To hold som lå side om side, da halvdelen af grundspillet var afviklet, og de sidste mange opgør vi har haft mod AGF, har været tætte og intense affærer, og det forventer jeg også af kampen i Århus torsdag aften.

Vi skal vel helst undgå forlænget spilletid, så vi ikke får en halv time ekstra i benene?

– Vi vil rigtig gerne foran 7-0 indenfor de første ti minutter, så den er afgjort. Selvfølgelig vil man gerne undgå forlænget spilletid, men jeg vil også hellere gå videre i forlænget spilletid, end jeg vil ryge ud efter ordinær. Det kan man ikke planlægge efter. Vi spiller for at vinde, som vi altid gør. Vi spiller for at gå videre, det er derfor, vi har tilmeldt os turneringen. Vi ved, der venter os en tæt affære. Vi kommer til at rokere på nogle pladser, men vi prioriterer pokalen højt.

AGF har tabt deres tre seneste kampe i Superligaen, og de kunne derfor godt være lidt ramte på selvtilliden. Michelsen mener dog ikke, det er noget, der kommer til at få betydning.
