Superligaen vendte tilbage igen sidste weekend, men for OB blev det langt fra det, man havde håbet på, da Brøndby kom forbi Odense Stadion i søndags.

Brøndby vandt kampen med 2-0, men Ryan Johnson Laursen mener ikke, at man rigtigt kan bedømme noget ud fra den kamp. Taktikken blev lagt på hylden, og ingen af holdene fik vist deres sande niveau.

– Det var en lige kamp under nogle svære forhold. Det blev til en duelkamp. Alt taktik var sat ud af spil, og det handlede egentlig bare om, hvem der kunne score først. Det gjorde Brøndby på nogle tilfældigheder, og så blev det op af bakke.

– Normalt når man spiller, så har man nogle automatismer. Når man taber bolden, så ved du, hvor bolden er. Du ved, når du løber, at du kan stå fast. Når du skal stoppe, at du kan bremse. Når du presser, at du kan vende rundt. Der var ikke nogle af de ting, man kunne.

– Det er svært at se udefra, før du står på banen, og kan mærke de første to centimeter ryge væk under dig ved hvert skridt. Det er noget, man kun kan mærke ved at stå der. Der var utroligt mange dueller og pressituationer, vi ikke fik udnyttet. Vi så ud til at være på hælene hele tiden, og vi fik heller ikke sat vores spil, for det var svære forhold. Så vi skulle slå over i noget andet, og det var Brøndby måske bedre til end os, og de havde også heldet til at score, hvilket gjorde udslaget.

Når man taber sådan en kamp, er det selvfølgelig helt naturligt, at man hænger lidt med hovedet i omklædningsrummet, men stemningen er blevet bedre igen frem mod kampen mod Randers.
